Missy Brinson

Missy Brinson received her Associates in Journalism and Mass Communications from UAGC. She has performed in The Wallace Theater’s A Doll’s House as Helene (the maid) and  LCT’s musical Cinderella as an ensemble member. Missy serves as the Social Media Coordinator for Horizon School of the Arts, she looks forward to continue to work with Horizon.

Kensey Mayer is a graduate from South Plains College, where she earned her Associates degree in Public Relations in the Spring of 2022. She is continuing her studies at Texas Tech University in the hopes of finishing with her Bachelor’s degree in the same area of study. Some of her favorite and most recent roles include Ensemble in The Wallace Theater’s production of RENT, Liz/Ensemble in LCT’s production of Chicago the Musical, Sarah Brown in Horizon School of the Arts production of Guys and Dolls Jr., Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods Jr., and an Ensemble Member in Horizon’s production of Descendants the Musical. After recently graduating out of the program, Kensey has been serving as a Social Media Intern for Horizon academy this semester. She would like to thank her former directors, and close friends, Travis and Annie Burge for the opportunity to grow in the skill and career opportunity as she works alongside the social media team for their current productions. Kensey credits her growing love for theatre and passion to continue crafting this artform to her former directors, as they continue to push her to grow to this day. Kensey would like to thank her friends and family who have supported her decision to chase her dream of being onstage throughout the years, and who continue to push her to go for new and challenging opportunities.

Camryn Spurlin

Camryn Spurlin is an LCU graduate with a BA in History. Camryn has many years of theatre experience participating in productions which include Sister Act, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, 9 to 5, High School Musical, Godspell, Descendants, Guys and Dolls, Freaky Friday, Chicago, and SpongeBob SquarePants with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals, Lubbock Community Theatre, and Horizon School of the Arts. Camryn has a deep love for dance and musical theatre and is ecstatic to continue with Horizon on the production team.
